Brett Anthony
Brett is a Board Certified Personal Injury Attorney specializing in complex wrongful death and personal injury cases. Brett attributes his many years of success to his attention to detail and willingness to dig deep to discover the truth. Brett’s legal style, which he describes as being “intellectually aggressive” was learned and refined as a young lawyer from his much appreciated guidance from his many legal mentors.
Brett was born in Montgomery, Alabama. He was raised in Corpus Christi, moving to Corpus in 1971. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1988. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business administration from Baylor University in 1992. Brett obtained his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1995, graduating with honors. While at Texas Tech, Brett was a member of the Board of Barristers, Texas Tech’s honorary trial advocacy organization.
After graduating law school, Brett returned to Corpus to practice law in 1995 with the law firm of Barger, Hermansen, Mckibben & Villarreal, L.L.P. In 2000, Brett joined the law firm of Brin and Brin, PC and was made partner in 2001 and equity shareholder in 2002. In 2007, Brett joined two previous partners and formed Anthony, Peterson & Purnell, L.L.P.
The firm is now The Anthony Law Firm, L.L.P, where Brett and his brother Adam focus their law practice on helping families and individuals whose lives have been changed from wrongful death or serious injuries caused by corporate neglect and corporate greed.
Brett is admitted to practice before the state courts of Texas as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Western Districts.
He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law. He is a member of ABOTA (the American Board Of Trial Attorneys), a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and a member of the Reynaldo G. Garza American Inns of Court. He is also a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA), the State Bar of Texas, and the Corpus Christi Bar Association.
Brett is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocate forum, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and Best Attorneys of America.
Adam Anthony

Adam is a challenger at heart. Adam enjoys the ability to right the wrongs committed by others. Walking alongside his clients in their darkest times, It is Adam’s privilege to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
Adam focuses on complex and catastrophic wrongful death and personal injury cases.
Adam was born and raised in Corpus Christi, graduating from W.B. Ray High School. In college, Adam played football at Trinity University in San Antonio and graduated under-graduate at St. Edwards University in Austin. Adam received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. Adam graduated number 9 in his class, receiving the Summa Cum Laude academic distinction, while traveling on STCL’s nationally recognized Moot Court teams.
Adam began his career working under a Texas trial lawyer with over 500 verdicts, representing companies and insurance carriers. Adam’s mentor was known for a willingness and skill in trying large complex cases and no non-sense negotiations. Adam learned quickly that honest, credible, and aggressive representation made the difference between just and unjust resolutions.
Now, as a trial attorney representing the catastrophically injured and their families, Adam knows what it takes to hold the companies and insurance carriers accountable. Adam is determined to see justice done.
Adam partnered with his brother, Brett Anthony, in what is now The Anthony Law Firm, L.L.P., where together they focus on helping families and individuals whose lives have been forever changed from wrongful death or serious injuries caused by corporate neglect and corporate greed. Together, they aggressively pursue justice for their clients.
Adam is admitted to practice before the state courts of Texas as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Western Districts. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA), and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association (HTLA). Adam is active in the American Association for Justice, specifically concerning Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), trucking and motor vehicle crashes, and premises liability. Adam is also an active member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
